Autumn Butternut Squash Chunks

Cook Time: 10 Min
Level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablesppon olive oil
  • 10 oz butternut squash, chunks (also sold in already cut up chunks at Trader Joes)
  • 2 Tbls. brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high for about 1 minute
  2. Add butternut squash, brown sugar and cinnamon
  3. Lower the heat to medium low and cook about 8-10 minutes or until tender
  4. Insert tookpicks and serve

Easy Cheesy Pretzel Sticks

This is a health snack that kids really love and can help make. I was surprised at how many young kids loved them first time. Havarti Cheese is the secret.

Ingredients:

  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Brick of Havarti Cheese
  • Cherry Tomatoes

Directions:

Cut Havarti cheese brick into 9, 1/4 inch slices, then cute each slice into 9 cubes.
Slide one cherry tomato and one chese cube on a pretzel stick.

Taste. Really Really good!

Frozen Grapes

OK it doesn't get any simpler than this. But try them once and you may end up having a zip lock bag of grapes in your freezer at all times. For some reason, they taste sweeter when frozen and are far healthier than anything processed .

Ingredients:

  • Red Seedless Grapes

Directions:

Wash grapes well and place in a zip lock bag. Freeze for at least 24 hours. Yum. Great on a hot day.
